The Superior quality category of saffron refers to a variety that stands out for its excellent properties and is positively valued for its quality. This type of saffron meets the quality standards of ISO 3632, reaching category 1, and is available at a lower price than Coupe saffron.

Intact Stigmas

Similar to Category I, the saffron stigmas of Superior quality from Marosa Saffron are usually intact. They are not broken or fragmented.

Saffron Red Color

The color is usually saffron red, although it may be slightly less intense or vibrant than that of Category I. However, it remains attractive and appetizing.
